The first gadget on Something for the Weekend this week was a set of Summit HD Video Camera Goggles that will record up to 8 hours of HD video on to a 32GB Micro SD/SDHC card.  The video is recorded in 740 pixels through a 159 degree wide angle lense and there is also the option to five mega pixel stills. Summit Goggles are a little heavier than normal ski/snowboard goggles but are water resistant so will be ideal when you are out on the piste.

Next up we had the Misa Kitara Digital Guitar.  This experimental new instrument issimilar to an electric guitar in shape, but in place of strings it has a touch-screen interface designed to give easy and intuitive control  It has three outs to channel your audio (MIDI/Audio 1.25"/Headphone 3.5mm) and will play synth effects across 24 frets and 144 notes.

Finally on this week's something for the weekend we had a very expensive hybrid electric bicycle.  The basic concept is that you peddle and an electric motor assist unit kicks in to give you a hand.  Alternatively you could keep circa two grand trousered and do the peddling yourself.
