Something for the Weekend returned to our screens after its Christmas hiatus on the heels of some bad news.  The BBC has cancelled the show and this run will be the last.  Come March there will be no more Something for the Weekend gadget round up.

Abbi Griffiths had the dubious honour of presenting the first of the final Some Things for the Weekend, and with the new year opon us she selected a selection of gadgets with a fitness theme. The gadgets this week included a fitness watch, some barefoot trainers and a very fancy treadmill costing literally thousands.

If you'd rather do your running indoors and have a few thousand left over after Christmas then you may be interest in the next gadget on this week's Something for the Weekend.  Technogym is a high-end running machine with an integrated tough screen LCD console to keep your mind off the running.
